Metal

Adamantine:

This ultrahard metal adds to the quality of a weapon or suit of armor. Weapons fashioned from adamantine have a natural ability to bypass hardness when sundering weapons or attacking objects, ignoring hardness less than 20. Armor made from adamantine grants its wearer damage reduction of 1/- if it’s light armor, 2/- if it’s medium armor, and 3/- if it’s heavy armor, this is stacking with other damage reduction, as long as their are reducing all type of damage (x/-). Adamantine is so costly that weapons and armor made from it are always of masterwork quality; the masterwork cost is included in the prices given below. Thus, adamantine weapons and ammunition have a +1 enhancement bonus on attack rolls, and the armor check penalty of adamantine armor is lessened by 1 compared to ordinary armor of its type. Items without metal parts cannot be made from adamantine. An arrow could be made of adamantine, but a quarterstaff could not.

Only weapons, armor, and shields normally made of metal can be fashioned from adamantine. Weapons, armor and shields normally made of steel that are made of adamantine have one-third more hit points than normal. Adamantine has 40 hit points per inch of thickness and hardness 20.

(Light armor cost +5000g, Medium armor cost +10000g, Heavy armor cost +15000g, Weapon cost +3000g, Shield cost +2000g, Ammunition cost +60g)

Cold Iron:

This iron, mined deep underground, known for its effectiveness against fey and demonic creatures, is forged at a lower temperature to preserve its delicate properties. This material is really heavy, weapons and armors made of cold iron weight twice as much, arcane spell failure double and the armor check penalty increase by 4. Weapons made of cold iron cost twice as much to make as their normal counterparts. Also, any magical enhancements cost an additional 2,000 gp.

Cold Iron weapons increase the Strength in damage rolls by an additional 0.5 (a two handed sword inflict then 2 time the strength, a short sword 1.5 time.) Cold Iron Armors increase resistance to become bull rushed by 4, and reduce all knock back by half (round down).

Items without metal parts cannot be made from cold iron and a double weapon that has only half of it made of cold iron increases its cost by 50%.

Cold iron has 50 hit points per inch of thickness and hardness 10.

Living Iron:

Mithral:

Mithral is a very rare silvery, glistening metal that is lighter than iron but just as hard. When worked like steel, it becomes a wonderful material from which to create armor and is occasionally used for other items as well. Only armor originally of metal and non-blugeonning weapons can be made out of Mithral.

An item made from mithral weighs half as much as the same item made from other metals. Mithral Armor are one category lighter than normal for purposes of movement and other limitations. Heavy armors are treated as medium, and medium armors are treated as light, but light armors are still treated as light. Spell failure chances for armors and shields made from mithral are decreased by 10%, maximum Dexterity bonus is increased by 2, and armor check penalties are lessened by 3 (to a minimum of 0). Weapons made out of Mithral can be enchanted, and used like a Staff (They are included in Craft Staff feat), and they are concidered light weapon for Weapon Finess feat (if they are medium sized). Weapons or armors fashioned from mithral are always masterwork items as well; the masterwork cost is included in the prices given below.

Armor can get Mithral Overlays, witch replace some of the armor parts. This reduce the weight by 10 for Heavy Armors, 5 for Medium armors, and 2 for Light armors. It always reduce Armor Check penalty by 1 and arcane spell failures by 5%.

Mithral has 30 hit points per inch of thickness and hardness 15. Heavy Armor cost 9000g, Medium Armor cost 4000g, Light Armor cost 1000g, Weapon cost 500gp/Half Lb. of original weapon (minimum 1000g). Mithral Overlays cost 3000g more than the original armor.

Gem-like Material

Serakis:

Necrolite:

Wood Material:

Fey Blessed Wood:

In the core of the great forest lies the fairies. They shaped the trees and lakes into their own domain and paradise. These magic infused trees has great magic infused into their heart and only few has ever seen and gathered this material.

Grey Oak:

This trees are really uncommon, and we are thankful for it. Hard like stone, they are pain to cut down without magic. Their roots are strong like titan arms and runs deep. When clearing a forest sector, they are always the last to be brought down (and usually avoided).

Red Rune Wood:

This material cannot be bought, as only rumor of them are told. These trees of unknown origins hold many secrets, and no story knows their full potency. Weapons made of this wood always has a blood red hue, and unreadable runes surfaces. Simply to know their existance, one must face the Red Rune Tree first, then he can make a Knowledge nature DC 20 or a Bardic Knowledge DC 25.
